The Club unveils Vista, its latest destination for all-day dining and drinks at a grand opening.
The renovated CHOP Bar space offers a weekday retreat for adults to enjoy specialty coffees and teas and light morning fare from 9am, lunch from 11:30am, a full wine menu from 2pm and evening drinks and eats when the lights of nearby Tokyo Tower flicker on.
With a name inspired by the stunning cityscape views it offers, Vista is a warm, welcoming space in which to unwind alone or socialize with friends or colleagues.
The remodeled interior, designed by local design firm Scandinavian Modern, features single-seat barrel sofas made from oiled walnut and natural leather, premium upholstered armchairs and herringbone-patterned floorboards.
“We wanted to preserve [CHOP Bar],” says Jim Weisser, chair of the Food & Beverage Committee. “It should still be a place in the evening where you can go have a good glass of wine or the best cocktails in town with a burger or steak, but also somewhere our Members can enjoy during the day.”
The event features a ribbon-cutting ceremony, complimentary canapés, celebratory cake and refreshments.
While CHOP Bar is remodeled between October 7 and 17, a temporary bar will be available in New York Bridge.
