In combination with the Club’s golf pro, Tom Fielding, Club trainer and certified golf fitness instructor Goichi Sano has developed a program to help golfers improve their fitness and golf technique while preventing common player injuries.
Sano says proper posture and technique relieves back, shoulder and elbow pain.
“By improving your physical fitness, you will improve your score,” he says.
Member Christopher Farrar has been working with Sano.
“In addition to improving overall flexibility, I am seeing the benefit of strength exercises to the core muscles,” Farrar says. “A more stable stance and extra yardage is the result.”
